All Clean-up materials will be picked up at your regular pickup site on your regular pickup day

Things to be picked up:

  • Garage and Home Clean-up
  • Furniture/wood stuffs
  • Mattresses/Carpets

 Things NOT picked up:

  • APPLIANCES/WHITE GOODS
  • Building, Remodeling materials
  • Automotive parts (tires, batteries, etc.)
  • Wood chips
  • Concrete or steel/iron
  • Yard Waste, tree branches
  • Oil, yard chemicals, wet paints, etc.

NW IA Area Solid Waste Agency will be in Maurice at the City Office on Friday Oct. 8th from 9-11 am for hazardous waste drop off. This is a free service to residents only – NO commercial dumping.

Accepted HHM examples are:
-Degreasers
-Waxes & Polishes
-Solvents
-Lacquers & Thinners
-Household Cleaners
-Spot & Stain Removers
-Pesticides & Herbicides
-Oil Based Paint
– Latex Paint (Fee of $1 per gallon. Cash or check)
